How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply wanting life to feel more balanced, therapy can help. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit—many people come to therapy simply to gain clarity and strengthen the way they handle challenges.
What can I expect in my first session?
Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, what you’d like to work on, and your goals for our work together. It’s also a chance to experience how our sessions will feel, so you can see if this is a good fit.
How often will we meet?
Most clients find weekly sessions helpful at first, though we can adjust over time as progress is made. Each session is 50 minutes long, and we’ll work together to create a rhythm that feels supportive and sustainable.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes — I accept most major insurance plans. I use a trusted third-party platform to manage all insurance paperwork and billing, making it simple and straightforward to use your benefits. This approach ensures accessing your coverage is as easy and stress-free as possible.
What if you don't take my insurance?
If I’m not paneled with your plan, there are still options. Some clients choose to pay out-of-pocket, and others can use out-of-network benefits if their plan allows. I can provide a superbill to help with reimbursement.
How long does therapy usually take?
The length of therapy depends on your goals. Some people work through a specific concern in a shorter period, while others prefer longer-term support to explore deeper patterns and create lasting change. We’ll check in regularly to ensure therapy stays aligned with your needs.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens! I ask for 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows me to offer the time to someone else who may be waiting. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to a fee.
